A. INTRODUCTION:
In the last study we learnt the a sinner can be compared to the chaff, stubble, morning cloud, early dew, smoke and other worthless things, because their joys do not last, they are down before their time. This week, we shall learn more about the end of sinners. Before we start however, is there any difference between sinners and backsliders? Prov. 21:16.

    Proverb 1:24-31, Isaiah 65:12, Hosea 9:17, Jeremiah 7:15-16 Sinner have no excuse against God.
  2. Lesson Outline 3: BUT GOD IS THE CREATOR OF ALL AND HE IS THE ALMIGHTY
    Because God is the Almighty why can’t He use His power to prevent anyone from going to such dreadful place as eternal fire?
    There is no need to blame God since some people insist on perishing despite all His warnings. Mark 9:43-48, John 5:28-29, Isaiah 52:11, Ephesians 5:11, 2 Thesalonians 3:6

    a. There are so many evil being perpetrated today e.g armed robbery, even highly placed people are involved why is God not doing something quickly, about it? 2Peter 2:9, 2 Peter 3:7, Luke 13:7-9 Luke 13:7-9, Proverb 11:21, Proverb 11:21
    b. Amos 5:18-19, Amos 9:2, 1 Thesalonians 5:3, Hebrews 2:23, Hebrews 12:25-29

Sinners are reserved unto judgment. But as many as are able to repent shall be saved. Judgment is inevitable.

  1. WILL ALL SINNERS SUFFER EXACTLY THE SAME PUNISHMENT?
    Punishment will vary according to the priviledges available to each sinner. Luke 12:41-48, John 9:41 John 15:22 All sinners shall experience second death.
  2. Lesson Outline 6: MANY SINNERS SEEM TO BE GETTING RICH AND POWERFUL IN THE WORLD TODAY. WHAT IS GOD DOING BY ALLOWING THE WICKED TO PROSPER WHILE SOME HOLY ONES REMAIN POOR?
    Don’t envy sinners even when they seem to prosper. Their end is terrible and they drink deep of the cup of the wrath of God. Psalms 37: 1-2, 10, 92:7 73:11-19, 75:5
  3. Lesson Outline 7: SOME PEOPLE TALK OF PURGATORY WHERE A SINNER CAN SUFFER A LITTLE AND THEN RELEASED HOW TRUE IS THAT?

The destruction of sinners is total, never partial. And it is sudden too, not gradual. Total and sudden in the sense tha “once in hell, forever in hell” Isa 30: 12-14, Pro. 6: 12-15, 29:1

There will be no exemption at all Jer. 23: 9-12 Eze. 34: 1-10

C. CONCLUSION
Now that you know that any unrepentant sinner is doomed forever and that there is no purgatory and no exceptions at all what do you think the future holds in store for you or that unrepentant member of your family? Pray about it now.
