TEXT: PSALM 1:1
INTRODUCTION
A. Last week we studied on three categories of blessings: (1) Physical, (1) Soulful (e pertaining to the minds) and (iii) Spiritual. Can you recollect some of these blessings? In this study we want to know which of these blessings, physical, soulful or spiritual, belong to children of God.
B. LESSON OUTLINES
Lesson Outlines 1: PHYSICAL BLESSINGS ARE FOR CHILDREN OF GOD.
(a) In fact He intends for them to have the very best-Ps. 34:10, Ps. 103:5
(b) God also promised good health to His children – Deut. 7:15, Jere. 30:17, Exo. 23:25
Lesson Outlines 2: SOULFUL BLESSINGS ALSO BELONG TO THE CHILDREN OF GOD

Lesson Outline 3: SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS; HERITAGE OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD
(a) Not only are we expected to be blessed spiritually, we are even encouraged to be covetous where spiritual blessings are concerned-1 Cor. 12:31
(b)We are told to strive strongly to improve spiritually-2 Pet. 1:5-8
Lesson Outline 4: HOW TO OBTAIN GOD’S BLESSINGS
A. Physical blessings can be obtained by:-
(I) Letting the Lord dwell in your home-25amuel 6:11
(ii) Paying of tithes and offerings – Malachi 3:10
(ⅲ) Giving to others – Luke 6:38,
B. SOULFUL: Soulful blessings can be obtained by:-
(I) Studying the word of God -2Tim 2:15, 2 Peter 1:10, John 5:39
(ii) Following righteousness and mercy – Proverb 21:21,Matt 5:6-7
(iii) By humility Prov. 22:4, 1 Peter 5:5-6
(iv) Serving God – John 12:26
(V) Praying – James 5:13,1 Thes 5:17
(vi) Witnessing – John 15:1-2,16
(vii) Abiding in Christ – John 15:7
C. SPIRITUAL: Spiritual blessings can also be obtained by:
(I)Living a Holy Life Isaiah 58:6-11, Heb 1:9
(iii) By Faith – Mark 9:23
(iii) Trusting in the fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ -1 Peter 1:3
C. CONCLUSION:
Now that you know that all these blessings are available for you as a child of God and you know how to obtain them. God is willing to bless you. Are you willing to meet His conditions?. Will you like to tell Him about your decision now? Let us pray.
